When men are stressed, they need testosterone to regulate their cortisol levels. This often means taking spaceβgoing for a run, zoning out with a video game, or just sitting in silence. This is why so many women find themselves exhausted while their male partners seem to have more energy. They rest when they need to, while we push through. The problem? This chronic over-functioning fries our adrenals, leading to burnout and long-term hormonal imbalancesβespecially post-menopause.
